Jive |Dance & Rocknroll Clubs

When time permits I hope to develop this page into a jive information section. If you have any suggestions or jive information you would like to share please let me know by email. Any information received will be reproduced here when I find time. Till then, if you ever find yourself in Glasgow, the best place to learn jive is at the Lindella, 205 Buchanan St. Glasgow, tuesday, thursday and friday at 8pm.

Another good teacher is my old friend Myles. I've not seen him for a while, but the last time I was in touch he was still doing classes in the Kilmarnock area.

Although there are some UK wide rocknroll jive clubs teaching a standard form of jive, the majority learn from other dancers at local venues, in community, church and village halls.

This page is provided to enable all jive clubs, whether run commercially or as a part time acitivity, to list their club venues and opening times, to enable those who wish to learn to locate a club in their local area.

I would also be happy to list information from those teaching other dance styles or dance to music exercise.
